The Hispanic New York Project Web site
For those interested in keeping up with and learning more about Latino news and issues in the United States and New York City, the Hispanic New York Project is an excellent resource. The site is edited by Claudio Ivan Remeseira, who is also the editor of the just-published Hispanic New York: A Sourcebook.
The site has recently included posts about and links to stories about bloggers in Cuba challenging Castro’s regime, the New York immigrant running for mayor of a small town in Mexico, Latino veterans, immigration reform, the recent election in Colombia and more. The site also has listings of upcoming literary and art and film events.
