At the New School, Julia Kristeva will be speaking. The event will be at 6:30 and will take place at the Theresa Lang Student Center, 55 West 13th Street, 2nd Fl.

For those interested in New York City history, the Museum of the City of New York is hosting a panel entitled, The Resilient City: New York Facing Adversity. The panel includes Kenneth Jackson, most recently the co-editor of The Almanac of New York City, Fred Kameny, the other editor of The Almanac, and Lisa Keller, author of Triumph of Order: Democracy and Public Space in New York and London.
