For those on the East Coast and/or in Portugual we’ve got some great events coming up in October. These include Thomas Doherty talking about his much-discussed book Hollywood and Hitler, 1933-1939 at the Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies.
Lawrence J. Friedman continues his series of events on The Lives of Erich Fromm: Love’s Prophet with events in both New York City and Portugal! Other events include Kara Newman’s event at The World Bank to speak about her book The Secret Financial Life of Food: From Commodities Markets to Supermarkets and staying in Washington D.C., Joseph Addleton will discuss his book Mongolia and the United States: A Diplomatic History.
Finally, Peter Rabins, author of The Why of Things: Causality in Science, Medicine, and Life, will be at The Ivy Bookshop in Baltimore.
