Abominable Science! Erich Fromm, Immigration in NYC and more Author Events for September
From coast-to-coast, we’ve got a great lineup of author of events for September, beginning with Daniel Loxton and Donald Prothero discussing their book Abominable Science!: Origins of the Yeti, Nessie, and Other Famous Cryptids at Sklylight Books in Los Angeles on September 5th.
Other events include Lawrence Friedman talking about his book The Lives of Erich Fromm: Love’s Prophet in Chicago; Nancy Foner discussing immigration in New York City and her newest One Out of Three: Immigrant New York in the Twenty-First Century at the Lower East Side Tenement Museum; while Dean Starkman will discuss his forthcoming The Watchdog That Didn’t Bark: The Financial Crisis and the Disappearance of Investigative Journalism at the Brooklyn Book Festival.
