This week Stanley Aronowitz will be discussing his new book Taking It Big: C. Wright Mills and the Making of Political Intellectuals on Friday, February 8, Aronowitz will talk about the book at The Murphy Institute .

Other events this week include Allen Ellenzweig at the Corcoran to discuss The Homoerotic Photograph: Male Images from Durieu/Delacroix to Mapplethorpe. Jonathan Soffer, author of Ed Koch and the Rebuilding of New York City is participating in a panel to discuss the new documentary Koch at the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival.
