Columbia University Press Around the World — University Press Week

Far from being confined to the walls of academia or even the streets around Morningside Heights, Columbia University Press’s influence spreads far and wide. In fact, thanks to David Ainley’s The Adélie Penguin: Bellwether of Climate Change, between where our authors live and the subjects they cover, where our books are sold, and our partners, we can say that our reach extends to all seven continents.

As part of University Press Week, which begins today, the American Association of University Presses created a special feature called Mapping Our Influence in which various presses created maps that demonstrate the reach of their books whether it be a book about a particular place or where their books are available among many other criteria.

Below is our influence map. Stay tuned for other features relating to university presses during this special week!
