Last Sunday, the New York Times Book Review weighed in on the new Olivier Roy book, The Politics of Chaos in the Middle East. Reviewed alongside Noah Feldman’s new book, the Times declares, “At only 167 pages, Roy’s book provides a concise and penetrating summation of the current scene; it’s a fine primer for anyone trying to get a sense of just how chaotic the Middle East is.”
