Book Giveaway! Sentimental Tales

Did you know that this week marks both the birth and death of Mikhail Zoshchenko? Born on July 28, 1894, Zoshchenko was a leading Soviet satirist. His stories of the 1920s made him enormously popular with readers. In 1946 he was expelled from the Soviet Writers’ Union. He never recovered from this trauma and died of heart failure in 1958. In honor of this great writer, this week, we’re featuring our translation of Sentimental Tales.
Throughout the week, we will be featuring content about the book and its author on our blog as well as on our Twitter feed and our Facebook page. We’ll even feature a guest post from the book’s translator, Boris Dralyuk and a blurb from the cover designer Roberto de Vicq de Cumptich! Be sure to tune in all week, but for now, enter our giveaway by filling out the form below. The winner will be contacted on Friday, July 27.
