Columbia University Press Author Events for March
Just 4 days into the month and we’ve already had a great event: the launch of the highly anticipated Sources of Tibetan Tradition with two of the book’s editors, Matthew T. Kapstein and Gray Tuttle. The event took place yesterday at the Rubin Museum of Art.
While that event has come and gone, there are still other great events with Columbia University Press authors coming in March, including Lawrence Friedman discussing his new book The Lives of Erich Fromm: Love’s Prophet in an event co-sponsored by Amnesty International.
Two of our authors will be delivering prestigious lectures: Michael Mann, author of The Hockey Stick and the Climate Wars: Dispatches from the Front Lines will deliver the Osgood Lecture at the College of Wooster and Kenneth Goldsmith, author of Uncreative Writing: Managing Language in the Digital Age, will be delivering the inaugural Poet Laureate Lecture at the Museum of Modern Art.
