Hispanic New York and Claudio Remeseira
Congratulations to Claudio Remeseira, the editor of Hispanic New York: A Sourcebook, which won the 2011 International Latino Award for Best Reference Book in English.
Remeseira was also the subject of a recent interview with Global Voices which he talked about, among other things, his excellent blog Hispanic New York Project. The blog like the book has become a fascinating resource for understanding the impact and presence of Hispanic culture and politics in New York City.
